- S. Krosnick - 254 - (OS) 3 March 2003, original field material, one living clone, was obtained in China. All specimens (holotype, isotypes, and paratype) cited are derived from the same clonal material collected on this original date. However, the date when the type specimens of P. xishuangbannaensis were actually gathered and prepared was 14 March 2004, using fertile greenhouse-cultivated mateial. Krosnick, S. E. 2009.
