Ecology and distribution. Puna or high open montane; apparently on soil. Peru: 3000-4300 m. Endemic.
Aloinella andina is distinguished by the leaf apex cucullate-tubulose, papillae present on upper dorsal surface of the lamina and costa, upper leaf margin membranaceous, costa ending well below tip of hooded apex.
