Notes:

Ecology: Montane forest to shrubby páramo and humid puna; on shrubs and branches of trees. Elevation: 1540-4000 m (Colombia: 3825 m, Ecuador: 1540-3500 m, Peru: 2460-4000 m, Bolivia: 3500 m). Distribution: Jamaica, tropical Andes (Colombia to Bolivia).

Acidodontium seminerve is distinguished by the closely imbricate, oblong-lanceolate to lanceolate leaves to 5 mm, very long acuminate apices ending in often flexuous hair point, weakly recurved margin at base, entire to distally slightly serrulate, costa typically ending well below the acuminate apex, seta to 40 mm, clavate capsules to 6 mm, and low conic to hemispheric apiculate operculum.
