Notes:
Pseudosymblepharis is a tropical to subtropical genus of 11 species; three species in the Neotropics. This species is rather similar to Trichostomum tenuirostris exhibiting a narrow leaf base forms of Pseudosymblepharis, however the upper basal cells near the costa of T. tenuirostris are not porose.
